The Latest Offering

Starting to get my hands working again now that it’s warming up a bit and I can start picturing myself in my studio again (pun not originally intended, but hey). I don’t usually draw stuff, but found a good website that sort of inspired me to try my hand at graphite (with the aid of one of those paper stub blender thingys). Was watching Australia while I did this, so the time it took for me to draw was the time it took for the film to play out. Australia is a very good film, by the way. If you haven’t seen it yet, you should.

thank you! I'm more of a landscape painter rather than a pencil portrait artist, so proportion is something I definitely have to work on - there's not really the same leeway for artistic license with a face! haha
